Bob Tomlinson

Bob is a Mechanical Engineer with over four decades of experience in the building design and construction industry. He has worked as a HVAC design engineer, MEPT Project Manager, AE team leader and Commissioning Authority on many projects including healthcare facilities, district campus central plants, higher education facilities, laboratories, office buildings, civic and assembly buildings, military, and industrial facilities.

He is particularly adept and excels in major large and complex building projects with complex MEP systems, always coordinating with and aware of all disciplines and team members. Bob worked for Capital Engineering previously from 2001-2011 as a project manager. Bob has rejoined Capital Engineering in 2025, in the corporate role of Director of Design Integration. He is passionate about working with all AEC team members to create integrated designs & well-coordinated construction documents.
