Our goal is to make Capital the "Firm of Choice" for our clients by being a valuable resource, trusted advisor, and a company that delivers on time, quality design services. Active membership in professional groups, community service organizations and public policy boards, commissions, and code bodies is an important part of maintaining our ability to be that trusted resource for our clients.
We keep abreast of the latest in technological advances in our industry and strive to pass that information along in a way that communicates, not confuses. Many of our experienced staff are active in the technical development of our craft and, as such, are sought after presenters for conferences and association meetings.
Capital began as a mechanical engineering consulting firm and that is still one of our principal core competencies. However, doing business in today’s highly integrated, collaborative environment requires us to approach teaming and the delivery of our services differently than in the past. Relationships are critical and understanding the needs of the client varies from project to project. To aid in this process, we have developed many strategic and collegial relationships with other design professionals, contractors, construction and program managers and other industry specialists to enable support to our clients in ways that benefit them the most. Such support may include offering mechanical/electrical combined services, full fire sprinkler designs, computational fluid dynamics, or pulling together a full, multi-disciplinary team for the project.
