With the existing medical clinic, circa 1960, spread throughout various outbuildings, comprehensive alteration and addition was necessary to consolidate the medical operations and convert the existing facility layout for outpatient clinical operations. The new clinic incorporates a wide range of outpatient services, ranging from dental, diagnostic imaging, immunizations, laboratory, optometry, public health, physical therapy to personalized pediatric services and new parent support.
Capital provided commissioning services in accordance with the provisions set forth by LEED for Commercial Interiors. Scope included a comprehensive review of the owner’s project requirements and basis of design, the development of the Commissioning Plan, commissioning specifications, the development and execution of the prefunctional and functional testing scripts, life-cycle cost analysis, energy effectiveness studies, the development of the O&M manuals, O&M training and compilation of the final commissioning report.
Commissioned systems include air handling units, exhaust and return fans, chillers, boilers, fan coil and condensing units, hydronic pumps, VAV boxes, BMS logistics and graphics, air compressors, air dryer, ductless spilt systems, water heater and circulating pumps, global and local control panels, lighting control panels, lighting fixtures, and occupancy sensors.
